nourishing gentler relationships with the land, ourselves and each other
Our intention
is to deepen kinship with the land and waters while building capacity for canoe travel, promoting play and pleasure, and remembering embodied awareness.
the trips
Learn about our whitewater canoeing trips in the heart of Anishinaabe territory.
The rivers
We are currently grateful to be running our trips on two rivers, both travelling through unceded Anishinaabe territory — the Dumoine River, or Cakawitopikak Sipi or Ekonakwasi Sipi and the Madawaska River, the river that flows through the land of the Matouweskarini/Madouweskarini Peoples. Whatever you call them, know they have so much to share with you.
the guides
Meet Ashley, Keira and Rachel. With a combined 44 years of guiding between them and experience in naturopathic medicine, education, counselling and Indigenous food sovereignty, these women have your back.
